Following a request from agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, the Centre has approved an additional 40,000 tonnes of urea for Telangana. Transported via five ships, this shipment adds to the 40,000 tonnes already allocated, bringing the total urea supply for the month to 1,04,000 tonnes.
